Designed for Speed, Precision, and Patient Comfort

Needle-Free Closure No injections required. Eliminates the lidocaine workflow and reduces patient anxiety - especially in pediatric and geriatric cases.
Consistent Wound Edge Eversion The patented design automatically lifts and everts wound edges on every closure - the clinical gold standard for optimal healing and cosmetic outcomes.
Up to 83% Faster Than Suturing Reduces average procedure time from 41 minutes to approximately 6 minutes. Saves an average of 35 minutes per case in high-volume settings.1
No Railroad Track Scarring No skin punctures, no tissue drag. Eliminates the scarring pattern associated with sutures and the tissue damage caused by staples.
Lower Cost Per Closure Saves $37-$80 per case when accounting for eliminated anesthesia, trays, and procedure time.2
Any Healthcare Extender Can Apply No specialized suturing skill required. Frees physicians for complex cases while nurses or MAs handle routine laceration closure.

Simple Application. Consistent Results.

DermaClip Regular can be mastered in minutes and applied by any healthcare extender - no suturing skill required.

1
Place Position the adhesive pads so the inner edges align flush with the wound margins. When using multiple clips, place them as close together as possible without touching - ideally 1 to 4mm apart.
2
Press Firmly massage the adhesive pads into the skin using consistent hand pressure. This activates the pressure-sensitive adhesive - this step is critical for secure, lasting closure.
3
Pull Pull the tabs closed to approximate the wound edges and engage the closure mechanism.
4
Lock The device clicks into place, securing closure and creating controlled wound edge eversion across the full 11mm footprint.

DermaClip vs. Traditional Closure Methods

Method Speed Tissue Trauma Cosmetic Outcome Ease of Use
Sutures Slow High (punctures) Variable Highly skilled
Staples Fast High Poor Moderate
Tissue Adhesives Fast Low Limited in tension Easy
DermaClip Regular Fast No punctures Excellent (eversion) Mastered in minutes

Best for Routine Laceration Management

Each 5-Clip package targets up to 3 inches of closure. For longer wounds, additional packages are applied sequentially end-to-end - there is no maximum closure length. For closures up to 1 inch, the Regular 2-Clip package is available. For closures of 2 inches or more, the 5-Clip package is the more economical choice.

  • Lacerations of any length - use as many packages as needed
  • Patients where needle avoidance improves compliance or reduces trauma
  • Fragile or aging skin where sutures may tear
  • High-throughput environments requiring fast, repeatable closure
  • Pediatric lacerations where sedation avoidance is a priority
  • Any setting where a healthcare extender - not just a physician - will apply closure

Clinically Trusted. Field Proven.

  • FDA Registered Class I Device
  • R&D 100 Award Winner
  • Published in Military Medicine, Case Reports in Emergency Medicine, and Journal of Reproductive Medicine
  • Used across U.S. military medical environments, including naval fleet operations
