Houston, TX – 06/09/2016. DermaClip® today announced the appointment of Dr. John Ko, MD, PhD, FACS, to its Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Ko is a board certified plastic surgeon and a certified hyperbaric medicine specialist. He is an assistant clinical professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to his private practice in New York City, he served as the first director of the Wound Care Service at NYC Health and Hospital’s Elmhurst Hospital Center. He is the Section Chief in Plastic Surgery at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center and a surgeon/wound care specialist at New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital and White Plains Hospital. Dr. Ko is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received his Medical Degree and a PhD in Biophysics from Boston University School of Medicine.
